ADAM CARMONY
Beginning his career in Denver, Colorado, singer/songster
Adam Carmony's debut album, Up Front, was released locally and online
to the public in May of 2001. This initial project caught the attention
of industry professionals and fans alike, due to Adam's proven independence
in the creation of dance/pop music. Writing the lyrics to his songs,
arranging his music, programming (with the nearly vintage Korg X3)
and producing his own recordings, Adam's drive and talent soon brought
him to headline with R&B legends such as Martha Wash (C+C Music Factory),
The Weather Girls, Jeannie Tracy, and Cece Penniston in the summer
of 2001.
This year, at 19, Adam resides in Boston where he continues to work
on his music and plans to release a second project, entitled As You
Like, nationally by Spring of 2003.
Deemed comparable to those of superstar Janet Jackson on a smaller
budget, Adam's highly energetic and action-packed performances are
complete with intricate choreography, dancers, and original dance/pop
tunes. Over the past few years, Adam has developed his own unique
sound and style consisting of smooth vocals, catchy hooks, and infectious
rhythms. People of all kinds tend to enjoy his work, whether they
like to dance or just sit back and experience the show.
