Biography
[supplied by artist]

Bard of Ely is a very eclectic mainly acoustic singer/songwriter who has played Glastonbury Festival on several occasions, as well as having been the compere for the Avalon Stage there 2 years in a row. He was compere and performer at the Green Man Festival too and has songs on the CD album of the same name on the Double Snazzy label. His controversial 'You're a Liar, Nicky Wire' created enough press to get rave reviewed in the NME and signed to Crai Records where it was released on the TAFFIA EP along with 'Harvest Home'.

The Bard has collaborated successfuly with various musicians including Daniel Iorio, who covered 'Harvest Home,' Crum ex-Hawkwind, and multi-instrumentalist Ed Drury. Bard of Ely comes from Cardiff in Wales, where he used to work as a TV presenter, but he has relocated to Tenerife where he is currently writing for Tenerife News (paper) and Living Tenerife (magazine).
