Dreams formed in February 2004. Drummer Peter and singer/bass
player Yaro had been playing together for nearly 3 years.
After numerous auditions of guitarists from all over London
(and outside as well) guitarist Marlon found an advert
saying Rock/Pop band looking for guitarist, committed
and with style, after showing up an hour and 30 minutes
late for the auditions he clicked straight away with the
band.
For the time being untitled band (that was actually the
name used at the time!) soon realized that there was something
going on in that smelly rehearsal room. After countless
arguments that the band had over a name (and at times
they still do!) they finally settled with Dreams, being
a short easy to remember name, that people can shout at
a concert.
The combination and mix of different styles that these
three blokes have soon appeared to the public when they
started gigging only a few months after meeting with each
other, people from the audience have described them as
a mainly pop band with a rock edge. The non defined style
is an interesting mix of styles that a great variety of
people can enjoy at the band gigs and on the CD released.
The Band has been well accepted by the people out there
so far and whatever the future for these guys their goal
is to let the people at the gigs have a good time!!!
