Biography [supplied by artist]
Perhaps the vast competence in the pop music market, Eddie
Robson has been recognised not only for being one of the
few song writers capable of singing their own work, but
also for having prepared all his production and launch
his own material, being leader in the field. "It
is fantastic to know that I can transmit through my songs
all kind of sentiments and emotions", he said. He
is very excited to interact with the people, letting them
feel his passion and energy. "A smile, some tears,
it is all an adventure that might be worth to remember
as our own story. This is what builds up our "Love
legends" of our entire life", he added.
Eddie Robson was born in Mexico City. At the age of
7, he showed interest for the music after receiving
a small piano during Christmas Eve. His dedication since
then has given him the courage to keep working and improving
himself in the musical world. His self discipline and
hunger for knowledge have leaded him to learn how to
play guitar, orchestral piano and sing under a vast
variety of tones. The latest would be his principal
bearing to create his own compositions. Eddie was influenced
since the begging by great singers in the juvenile genders,
such as Michael Jackson, Gun's & Roses, Elvis Presley,
Air Supply, Ray Charles, Billy Joel, Elton John and
Luis Miguel amongst many others.
At the age of 12, he proposed his first pop song, gender
in which he decided to continue his improvement. He
focused his attention on playing the guitar during those
years. In 1992, he participated in the contest "The
John Lennon Songwriting", increasing his desires
to continue with his own compositions. Retaking the
love for the piano, he started his studies in Audio
Engineering and Musical Production. The objective: to
create his own disc entirely, based on his tastes and
ideas. In that period, he decided to learn jazz to increase
his knowledge and creativity, working with great personalities
in the field.
After a break through his life and his health, he decided
to move on to Canada, studying singing under the supervision
of the best teachers around the world (Seth Riggs, Jeffrey
Skouson and Spence Welch, who taught Michael Jackson,
Madonna, Kelly Clarkson, etc.). It is during this time
when he finally took the initiative to compose what
later would be his first album. Surrounded by great
personalities, his ambitions touched his first climax
in the musical ambit, giving birth to his most exciting
and unprecedented production, entitled "Love Legends".
