Since Enter the Haggis' conception in 1996, the band has
built a recording and international touring career based
on its unique approach to Celtic-rooted music and high
energy live performances. After the success of 2002's
'Enter the Haggis - LIVE!', the group teamed up with producer
Joao Carvalho to record its fourth album, 'Casualties
of Retail'. The result is a strong record and a sound
that ETH can truly call their own.
The group is no stranger to the stage; a look at ETH's
past and present tour schedule makes it clear that they've
become a big draw at music festivals in North America
and Europe. Besides the release of the new album, an hour-long
television special entitled "Enter the Haggis: Live
at Lanigan's Ball" is currently airing on PBS affiliates
throught the US and Canada. The documentary/performance
was produced by the New York based company Adirondack
Productions and filmed at Plattsburgh, New York's Hartman
Theatre, in December of 2003. The special is available
on DVD and VHS
