Biography [supplied by artist]
The Glam Metal musician, Johnny Roxxy, earlier a member
in the Glam Rock bands Plastic Dolls and Angelina Diamonds,
gets his inspiration from the 80's Heavy Metal and Hair
Metal bands such as Kiss, Mötley Crue, Tigertailz
and W.A.S.P. Johnny Roxxy's Glam Rock band Angelina Diamonds
dissolved and that gave him more time to write 80's Heavy
Metal songs. In the spring 2004, together with Julia,
a Glam Girl with roots in the Glam Rock artist David Bowie
and the ever experimental Kate Bush, Johnny Roxxy started
to create tunes very much related to their own favourits.
One of their previous songs is a very special and sensitive
kind of acoustic Hard Rock Ballad called Dragonfly and
it was played on local radio stations. A half year later
the Glam Metal duo had achieved thirteen songs .
The Sleaze Metal couple began to search after eager
and talented Hard Rock musicians with the right attitude.
The first musician that joined Johnny and Julia was
the solo guitarist Geoff Lawrence from Sidney, Australia.
In Geoff's guitar playing you can find influences from
true guitar heroes like Steve Vai, Jeff Beck and Zakk
Wylde.
The next musician that came along with the the Glam
Rock band were the Glam Metal drummer Daniel Jackzin
that played with Johnny Roxxy in both of the Glam Rock
acts Plastic Dolls and Angelina Diamonds. Daniel is
a musician of many talents, he handles a row different
instruments as guitar, piano, bass and cello. This has
meant a great deal for the Glam Band when it comes to
variety in sound. Daniel Jackzin's influences as a drummer
are many, but the 80's Hair Metal drummer Tommy Lee
in Mötley Crue is one of the leading stars. Most
recently the guitarist Zack Wylde and the Heavy Metal
band Black Label Society have made a great impact on
Jackzin.
The band tested different bass players and ended up
with Carl Thunberg, that became the last successful
piece that was needed to make the Hair Metal band complete.
Carl Thunberg has been influenced by Sleaze Metal acts
as Gun's N Roses, 80's Heavy Metal bands like Manowar,
Motley Crue, W.A.S.P., and the guitar hero Zack Wylde
in Black Label Society.
